Itinerary for 6 Days Tanzania Safari
Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Distance: 130 kilometers
Non-Game Viewing Time: 2 to 3 hrs.
Meet your safari driving guide in the lobby after breakfast and depart for Tarangire National Park via Arusha town, where you can change money or make any last-minute purchases. Tarangire is Tanzania's fifth-largest national park, notable for its gorgeous environment and bigger elephant population found nowhere else on the planet.
Among the features of this park are the Tarangire River and the gigantic baobab trees that dwarf some of the animal species that live under them. The Tarangire-Lake Manyara environment supports an annual migration of about 3000 elephants, wildebeests, and zebras. Aside from elephants, expect to see giraffe, buffalo, zebra, hippos, warthogs, and the three rare species of Lesser and Greater Kudu, Oryx, and the Ash starling.
