Spend the next day touring this ‘hidden gem’ in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania’s game parks. Search for the large herds of elephants (as many as 300), the vast number of zebras and wildebeests, and predators, including the famed tree-climbing lion.

DAYS 3-4 Game viewing on the Crater floor

After breakfast, embark on a short game drive as you make your way to Plantation Lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservancy. Along the way, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the renowned Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for dinner.

The next day, you’ll set off on a full day of game driving of the famous Ngorongoro Crater, stopping along the way to enjoy a picnic lunch. Experience one of the best wildlife-viewing parks in East Africa as you drive around this unbroken caldera searching for lions, hippos, and wildebeest.
