Day 0: Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, our representative will warmly greet you and transfer you to Planet Lodge in Arusha. After settling in, our safari manager will provide a comprehensive briefing about your upcoming adventure. You'll have the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the amenities of Arusha City and the lodge.

Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park - Lake Eyasi
After breakfast, your guide and chef from Back to Africa Safaris will pick you up from your lodge. You'll depart for Lake Manyara National Park, where you'll enjoy a thrilling game drive amidst lush greenery and abundant wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for elephants, tree-climbing lions, flamingos, giraffes, and more.
In the afternoon, you'll journey to Lake Eyasi via the Great East African Rift Valley, stopping for picturesque views along the way. At Lake Eyasi, you'll visit the Datoga tribe and explore their village, followed by a sunset walk along the lakeshore. Dinner and overnight will be at Lake Eyasi Lodge

Day 2: Lake Eyasi - Ngorongoro Crater
Start your day with an early morning hunting expedition with the Bushmen tribe, learning survival skills and immersing yourself in their ancient way of life. After breakfast, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending over 600 meters into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game-viewing experience.
Marvel at the diverse wildlife, including the Big Five and a variety of predators and prey. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the natural beauty of the crater floor before ascending back to the crater rim for a stunning sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at Rhino Lodge.

Day 3: Ngorongoro - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to the renowned Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque landscapes of the Crater rim. Along the way, you may have the option to visit a Masai village and interact with the local community.
Upon arrival at Serengeti, check-in at Naabi Hills gate and commence your exploration of the vast plains, seeking out iconic wildlife species and witnessing the incredible Wildebeest Migration if timing allows. Arrive at Serengeti heritage tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Full Day of Game Drive in Serengeti
Rise early for a sunrise game drive, capturing the beauty of the Serengeti at dawn and encountering its diverse wildlife in its natural habitat. Spend the day exploring the Serengeti's expansive plains, observing predators and prey in action. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 5: Serengeti - Lake Natron
Depart Serengeti after breakfast for Lake Natron, enjoying an en-route game drive or optional early morning exploration. Check out of the park at Klein's gate and journey to Lake Natron, where you'll enjoy dinner and overnight accommodation in preparation for your night trek up Ol Doinyo Lengai.

Day 6: Lake Natron - Arusha
Embark on a thrilling night climb up Ol Doinyo Lengai, reaching the summit at sunrise for breathtaking views. After descending, enjoy breakfast and a well-deserved rest before returning to Arusha. Optional activities such as a waterfall hike or flamingo viewing at the lake may be available depending on your flight schedule.
