Day 1 - Arrival in Arusha
Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to a hotel in Arusha for a good night's rest. Arusha, situated in northern Tanzania and serving as the capital of the Arusha Region, boasts a population of 416,442, with an additional 323,198 in the surrounding Arusha District. Nestled beneath Mount Meru on the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley, Arusha enjoys a pleasant climate. The city is conveniently close to a range of renowned natural attractions, including Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Lake Manyara National Park, Olduvai Gorge, Tarangire National Park, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Arusha National Park on Mount Meru.

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park
In the morning, you'll be transferred to Arusha airport for a flight to Tarangire. Upon arriving at Tarangire National Park, you'll embark on a full day of exciting game drives before returning to your lodge in the evening. Tarangire National Park is located slightly off the primary safari route in northern Tanzania. It is known for its peaceful ambiance, famous elephant migration, and exceptional birdwatching opportunities. Many travelers either overlook Tarangire or spend only a short time there, leaving much of the park untouched.

Day 3 - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, leave Arusha for Tarangire National Park. You'll start the day with a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger and enjoy an afternoon game drive within the park. In the evening, return to your lodge. In Tarangire, you'll witness herds of up to 300 elephants digging for underground streams in the dry riverbed. This park hosts a diverse range of wildlife, making it a haven for predators. It's also one of the few places in Tanzania where you can regularly spot dry-country antelope like the graceful fringe-eared oryx and the unique long-necked gerenuk.

Day 4 - Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, fly from Kuro airstrip to Serengeti National Park, where you'll spend the day on a thrilling game drive. In the evening, return to your camp or lodge for dinner and overnight. The Serengeti is Tanzania's oldest and most renowned national park, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and recently designated as one of the "Seven Wonders of the World." It is celebrated for its annual wildebeest migration, where millions of hooves traverse the open plains, joined by thousands of zebra and Thomson's gazelle in search of fresh grazing. Even outside the migration, the Serengeti offers exceptional game viewing with large herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, and a variety of antelope species.

Day 5 - Serengeti National Park (Migration Viewing) Central Seronera
Start your day with breakfast at the lodge and then embark on a full day of game drives in Serengeti National Park. Your aim is to track and observe the magnificent wildebeest migration. In the late afternoon, return to your lodge or tented camp. Besides the migration, the Serengeti is home to a wealth of resident wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, African elephant, African buffalo, and rhinoceros). It is believed to have the largest population of lions in Africa, with over 3,000 lions in the ecosystem.

Day 6 - Serengeti National Park (Migration Viewing) Central Seronera
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge and continue your exploration with a full day of game drives, focusing on the ongoing wildebeest migration. In the late afternoon, drive to Serengeti Central (Seronera) for your accommodation.

Day 7 - Serengeti to Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, embark on a game drive in the Serengeti, culminating in a flight from Seronera Airstrip to Lake Manyara. You'll arrive in the afternoon for lunch and then enjoy an evening game drive. Finally, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Lake Manyara National Park is known for its remarkable birdlife, with over 400 species recorded, making it an ideal introduction to Tanzania's avian diversity. The park is also home to the famous tree-climbing lions and impressive herds of elephants.

Day 8 - Ngorongoro Crater Tour
After breakfast, you'll embark on a morning game drive to Ngorongoro for a full day crater tour. The Ngorongoro Crater, a deep volcanic caldera, is the largest unflooded and unbroken caldera in the world. It offers breathtaking natural beauty and a chance to see a wide variety of wildlife, including flamingos, hippos, and other water birds at Lake Magadi.

Day 9 - Ngorongoro Rim Walk and Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge or camp in the morning and then participate in a Ngorongoro Crater Rim walk. In the afternoon, you'll be driven to Manyara airstrip for a flight either back to Arusha/Kilimanjaro International Airport or onward to Zanzibar.
The Ngorongoro Crater Rim walk offers a unique opportunity to experience the African bush on foot. Accompanied by an expert guide and an armed ranger, you'll explore the crater's rim, taking in stunning views and observing wildlife tracks and signs. The walk is relatively easy, with no steep climbs, lasting approximately 1 to 2.5 hours.
