"Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Tour"

Materuni Waterfalls & Village

A journey to Materuni Village and Waterfalls offers an excellent opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life for a day. When you trek to Materuni Waterfall, you can immerse yourself in Tanzania's stunning natural scenery. It's a chance to either prepare for a Kilimanjaro climb or unwind your tired muscles after the climb.

The excursion begins with a pleasant stroll near the waterfall, where you can observe the growth of local fruits like avocados, mangos, lemons, and bananas. You can also gain insights into the local history, customs, village lifestyle, and their means of livelihood. Upon reaching the waterfall, you can take a refreshing swim in a natural pool, so make sure to bring your swimsuit!

The tour then continues with a visit to the local village nestled within coffee plantations. The villagers will demonstrate how they cultivate coffee and the entire process of turning coffee beans into a steaming cup of joe. You can even join in the merriment as the Chaga people sing and dance while they grind, roast, and brew the coffee. Once it's ready, the villagers will serve you a delicious lunch.
