Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti national park
From your hotel in Arusha, you will be met by our Tanzania safari guide depending on the time of your flight. He will transfer you to Arusha airport for your flight to the endless plains of Serengeti national park. You will board a flight that takes around one hour depending on the stops of the flight en route.
Upon arrival at Seronera airfield, you will meet the safari guide who will pick you up and transfer you to your lodge for refreshments and some rest. After we have a short welcoming game drive in search of the game. You will do a game drive around the central area of the park commonly known as the Seronera area. We will have a good view of animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, Elephants, Hyenas, Cheetahs, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, and many others. Retire back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full day Serengeti national park
We start a new day with a heavy breakfast and also have our lunch boxes ready in time and we move with a picnic lunch. We go for a full-day encounter with the wilderness on the endless plains of Serengeti national park. With our experienced driver guides, you will also go to key animal spotting areas around the park. You will clearly have a great wildlife experience as we catch live movies of action in nature.
See the big cats hunt while other dependents like Hyenas look for the leftovers. You will not miss along list of birds at the park during the game drives. You will have a lunch break in the middle of the wilderness. After we continue to search for more wildlife in their natural habitats. Driver back to the lodge for deep refreshments as we wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Morning and afternoon game drive
Today you continue your safari in the Serengeti national park. The stunning landscapes are not only nice but also feature impressive nature documentaries. The endless plains and abundance of wildlife are unsurpassed. The annual wildebeest migration with more than a million wildebeest is probably the highlight of the Serengeti.
It is a true spectacle and impressive to watch millions of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles thunder across the endless plains of the Serengeti. Together with your private guide, you will be looking for the herds across the plains. Apart from the migratory animals, you will also get to see lots of other animals, like lions, Buffaloes, Elephants, cheetahs, leopards, gazelles, and many more.
Day 4 Transfer to Zanzibar
After our morning delicious continental breakfast, we check out of our lodge. Say bye-bye to the wonderful and most hospitable staff. Furthermore, you will transfer to Seronera airstrip for a flight to Zanzibar. The guide will welcome you to a home of white sand and also takes you to the hotel. Feel the relaxed cool breeze of the ocean as we have an afternoon relaxing day. Dinner and overnight at our hotel
Day 5 - Zanzibar Stone town
Explore the lively Stone Town today – the cultural and historical heart of Zanzibar. It is a fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets and alleyways that are a joy to explore. Discover the architectural gems, tasteful restaurants, churches, markets, and gardens. There are plenty of interesting places to visit on a cultural tour, like the House of Wonders, Darajani marketplace, Sultan’s Palace, and the Slave Market.
The mix of Arab, Persian, Indian, and European influences makes Stone Town absolutely unique. In the afternoon you go on a boat trip to visit Prison Island. This island is also once a place where slaves were detained. Later it functioned as a camp where people with deadly diseases were sent. Today the island is a nature reserve for giant tortoises and a place to see the ruins that once functioned as the prison. Dinner and overnight
Day 6 - Zanzibar
Relaxing day with a lot of optional activities like snorkeling, swimming, visiting local markets, and others. Dinner and overnight at our hotel
Day 7 - Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Zanzibar airport for your departure (this will depend on your departure time).
