Day 1: Arusha City - Tarangire National Park
Embark on a thrilling Tanzania 7-day photography safari as we gather in a 4x4 Land Cruiser, equipped and ready for the adventure ahead. Our journey commences towards Tarangire National Park, where the captivating beauty of the Tarangire River, ancient baobab trees, majestic elephant herds, diverse birdlife, and the magnificent African wildlife will leave your camera yearning for more. We will spend the night at a comfortable tented camp, marking the beginning of our 7-day photography safari.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park - Lake Manyara National Park
After a hearty breakfast, we set out on the second day of our Tanzania 7-day photography safari, making our way to Lake Manyara. At Lake Manyara, you'll have the opportunity to capture stunning shots of the salt lake, graceful flamingos, playful hippos, and if luck favors us, lions perched on trees against the backdrop of the Rift Valley escarpment. As the day draws to a close, we'll retire to a lodge in Karatu for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Karatu - Serengeti National Park
Following breakfast, we embark on a scenic drive to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a prime location for captivating photos and an enriching safari experience. Upon reaching the Ngorongoro gate, have your camera at the ready as we traverse this breathtaking mountainous landscape. We'll pause briefly at the summit to capture photos of the Ngorongoro Crater before continuing our journey to the vast plains of Serengeti. For those with a keen interest, optional visits to a Maasai Boma can be arranged at an additional cost, allowing you to immerse yourself in the rich cultural heritage. Our next stop will be the Olduvai Gorge, where you'll have the opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of the cradle of humankind and capture incredible shots. As we proceed, game viewing will be interspersed along the route until we reach the southern part of Serengeti, where we'll spend the night at a tented camp. Thus concludes the third day of our Tanzania 7-day photography safari.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Prepare for an exhilarating day in Serengeti as we continue our Tanzania 7-day photography safari. Enjoy a full day of game viewing in the southern Serengeti, where you'll have the chance to track resident prides, spot cheetahs, witness the spectacular wildebeest migration, marvel at zebras, capture shots of ground birds, and soak in the mesmerizing scenery of this endless plain. In the evening, we'll make our way to the central Serengeti, where our camp/lodge awaits for a comfortable night's rest.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Another splendid day unfolds in Serengeti as we explore the central region around kopjes, offering endless opportunities for breathtaking photography. Allow the captivating surroundings to take your breath away, and let the clicks of your camera tell the story. As the day draws to a close, we'll return to our camp for a review of the remarkable photos captured during our Tanzania 7-day photography safari, followed by an overnight stay.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
On this penultimate day of our 7-day photography safari, we commence with a morning game drive in Serengeti, savoring the final moments of this remarkable landscape. Later in the day, we embark on a game drive en route to Ngorongoro, where we'll spend
the evening in a lodge with a splendid view of the crater rim. Enjoy your last night of the Tanzania 7-day photography safari in the comfort of the lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha City
Our final day is spent in the base of the Ngorongoro Crater, where the captivating interactions between predators and prey unfold before your lens. Experience the remarkable dynamics of the wildlife as you capture their every move. In the afternoon, we'll enjoy a picnic lunch while reviewing and relishing our photographic accomplishments. As the day progresses, we'll depart the crater, commencing our journey back to Arusha. You will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, where you may continue your journey back home or embark on a beach retreat in Zanzibar.
