DAY 0 - ARRIVAL DAY

You will have to arrange your own flights to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Once you arrive, we'll organize a private transfer to take you to your hotel in Arusha. Either that night or early the next morning, you'll meet with your Travel Wise Safari representative for a detailed briefing.

Day 1 Arusha – Tarangire

Your personal guide and vehicle will greet you, and you'll head to Tarangire National Park. You'll arrive with ample time for an afternoon game drive. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, with the Tarangire River attracting elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and antelopes. It's common to spot large herds of elephants wandering through the park's savannah grasslands or seeking shade under the distinctive "upside down trees" (baobab) scattered around. Tarangire also boasts a diverse bird population, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest flying bird globally!

Day 2 - Ngorongoro  Crater – Arusha 

After an early breakfast, you'll drive to the captivating wildlife hub of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a must-visit safari destination. Home to over 25,000 large mammals, it's not uncommon to spot all of the 'Big Five' (buffalo, elephant, rhino, lion, and leopard) in a single day. The crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the world's largest intact volcanic caldera, formed millions of years ago. Often referred to as "Africa’s Eden," you'll descend onto its floor for an incredible safari experience. In the late afternoon, you'll journey back to your hotel in Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.
