During the journey, you'll enjoy picturesque views of grassy plains dotted with ancient baobab trees, traditional Maasai homes, and nomadic herders tending to their cattle.
In Tarangire National Park, you'll get to witness its renowned features: the iconic ancient baobab trees, pythons that climb trees, and a large population of African elephants, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Day 2 - Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we'll drive to the fertile crater highlands, where the Iraqw people grow wheat, corn, and coffee. We'll pass by the Ngorongoro Crater on our way to the Serengeti National Park, arriving around midday.
The park offers diverse landscapes, including grassy plains, savannah, bushes, wetlands, mountains, lakes, and unique rock formations called Kopjes, which are great spots for spotting predators.
Depending on the season, you may witness the famous animal migration. During the short rainy season (November-December), herds move from the north hills to the southern plains. In the longer rainy season (April-June), they return north. This migration depends on the yearly rainfall and results in different herd locations. Your experienced guide will make sure you have the best chances to see these animals.

You'll often spot large herds of elephants and the rare black rhinos.
The crater is also home to abundant wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, hippos, cape buffalos, lion prides, hyenas, serval cats, jackals, and nearly 400 bird species.
Later, you'll either return to Arusha town or head straight to the airport.
