Day 0: Arrival in Tanzania

Upon your arrival at the airport, we will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel we have booked for your overnight stay. You will have the opportunity to relax and prepare for your tour, as our professional driver guide will meet you for a briefing and overview of the safari. Your trip will begin the next day, with departure from your hotel/lodge in Arusha around 8:30am.

Day 1 & 2: Tarangire National Park

After an early breakfast, we will embark on a game drive at Tarangire National Park, where we will have picnic lunches. This park is known for its large herds of elephants, as well as various other wildlife such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest, and eland. It is a haven for predators and also home to unique dry-country antelope species like the fringe-eared Oryx and long-necked gerenuk. Tarangire National Park is the only park in Tanzania that hosts migratory animals during the dry season.

Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast at 7:00am, we will pick you up from the hotel and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park with packed picnic lunches. We will have game drives en route, passing through the Ngorongoro Crater rim. The Serengeti is renowned for its diverse wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, eland, wild dogs, gazelles, and crocodiles. It is also famous for its comprehensive research and conservation efforts. We will arrive at Nabi gate around 2:30pm and enjoy a late afternoon game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we will embark on a photographic safari game viewing at the Serengeti National Park. This vast park covers various landscapes such as grassland plains, savannah, kopjes, hills, woodlands, and riverine forests. These diverse ecosystems serve as critical water sources and provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing. Apart from the famous wildebeest and zebra migration, the Serengeti is known for its big predators like cheetahs and leopards, as well as large prides of lions and clans of hyenas. We will have dinner and spend the night at Seronera Nyani Campsite.

Day 5 & 6: Serengeti Game Drives

These two days will be dedicated to game drives in the Serengeti National Park, allowing you to capture stunning photographs of Tanzania's wildlife. As the Serengeti is vast, the timing and locations of the game drives will depend on the movements of the migratory herds. Our experienced guide will ensure that you have the best opportunities to witness this incredible spectacle. With over a million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras, the Great Migration is a remarkable sight. Even without the migration, the Serengeti offers captivating experiences with its diverse wildlife. We will have dinner and overnight stays at a lodge.

Day 7: Serengeti Plains to Ngorongoro Crater

After a relaxing morning and an early lunch, we will proceed to Ngorongoro, enjoying a game viewing experience along the way from Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater. In the late evening, we will arrive at the crater rim, where we will spend the night. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at a lodge.

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Following breakfast, we will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a 5-6 hour game drive. In the crater, you will have the opportunity to see the famous "big five" game animals, including buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and many other species, against the backdrop of the stunning Great Rift Wall. After the game drive, our driver will take you back to Arusha, where you will stay overnight at the hotel we have arranged for you.
