9 Days Northern Circuit Route – Climb Kilimanjaro

Join us on our 9-day Northern Circuit Kilimanjaro climb where we'll guide you steadily ("pole pole") to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the Roof of Africa. The pricing for the Northern Circuit climb starts at $2250 per person.

This route is the newest and lengthiest on Kilimanjaro, commencing at the Londorossi Gate in the West. It initially shares the path with the Lemosho route for the first two days. After traversing the Shira plateau, it diverges north near Lava Tower, opting for the extended Northern Circuit instead of the more commonly taken Southern Circuit through Barranco Valley. The trail encircles the quieter northern slopes, reaching the mountain's eastern side. The Northern Circuit is lengthier than other routes on Kilimanjaro, requiring a minimum of eight to nine days to complete. An eight-day trek excludes the additional acclimatization day usually spent at Shira Camp 2 and proceeds directly to Moir Camp.

  • Summit Mount Kilimanjaro, one of the seven summits of the world at 19,340′

  • Navigate Kilimanjaro’s Lemosho Route, the most scenic on the mountain

  • Cross 6 ecological zones from lush rainforest to the harsh, beautiful arctic zone

  • Follow expert African guides, full of knowledge of the mountain and its environs

  • Experience Signature Camping! Spacious tents, deluxe comfort, amazing meals and more!
